Gardaí in Drogheda Co Louth have confirmed that four teenagers have been injured following a crash near the town late last night.
Gardaí say the crash happened in Timure Village, near to Drogheda, at approximately 10.20pm last night.
It is believed that the incident was a single vehicle collision. The were four teenage occupants of the vehicle, including – three males and one female – are all in their late teens.
They were all taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda for treatment, although their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
