Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation after a man sustained injuries following an alleged assault on Friday.
It is understood the man was taken to Beaumont Hospital after he was assaulted Ballyowen Lane between the hours of 11pm and 12am.
Gardaí say they are currently investigating the incident and an incident room had been set up at Lucan Garda Station.
