A man in his 30’s has been taken to Beaumont Hospital in the early hours of the morning with serious head injuries. An alleged assault occurred outside a popular nightclub in Airside, Swords, Co Dublin.
Emergency services attended the scene at approximately 3:40am where the man was being attended to by nightclub staff.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the alleged alteration between two men outside the club between 3am and 3.30am.
Gardaí are particularly interested in speaking with the driver of a taxi that picked up a man close to the scene at that time.
There was at least one other occupant in the taxi. The man who got into the taxi was wearing a light coloured t-shirt and dark trousers.
