Gardai investigating after a number of shots were fired at a pub in west Dublin





Gardai have launched an investigation after a number of shots were fired at a pub in west Dublin this morning.

It is understood that the shots were fired as a man entered the Paddocks pub in Clonee.

The raider, who was wearing a balaclava and wielding a shotgun, entered the premises and demanded cash. He then fired the weapon and left empty-handed.

Nobody was injured in the incident.
