Gardaí in Limerick are currently investigating an alleged sex attack on a girl at a student disco for third year and transition year students.
It is understood the alleged a sexual assault involved a 17-year-old girl, and took place at Limerick Racecourse last Friday night.
A Garda source said: “We have spoken to the girl. The incident is alleged to have occurred in the premises of the racecourse on Friday night. The disco took place between 9pm and midnight and there would have been up to 1,500 young people in attendance.”
