Gardai are ready to deploy armed and undercover squads in an effort to protect citizens against terrorist attacks during the festive weekend.
According to Gardai, armed support units will be placed on strategic positions along the route taken by the Dublin parade, ready to neutralize any threats. Firefighting vehicles and civil defence trucks will also be on standby.
Gardai will also maintain a highly visible stance around other parades across the country.
