Good news on the jobs front today, if you live in Dublin that is, Mircosoft have announced 600 more jobs for the capital.
The tech giant already has a massive plant in Sandyford which opened in late 1996, but this new announcement in for the South County Dublin business park which will see 500 direct sales staff to Asia and Africa and a further 100 in managerial positions.
Jobs include selling over-the-phone to customers wishing to update products and download new products such as Microsoft Office.
The jobs announcement was met with mixed reactions as people from down the country feel hard done by that any sort of recovery is geared towards Dublin only.
