Government plan to spruce up rural Ireland with €60 million being put into towns and villages

The government will publish a plan later today which sets out to rejuvenate 600 towns and villages nationwide. 
The project aims to create 135,000 new jobs and to encourage people to reside in town and village centres.

€60 million is being put into the project devised by Minister Heather Humphries – Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.
