Guitar manufacturer Gibson faces bankruptcy

World-renowned guitar manufacturer Gibson is facing bankruptcy, according to reports.

Gibson, which has created iconic guitars like the Les Paul and SG models, may soon file for bankruptcy as the company is burdened with debt of more than $500m.

Gibson’s guitars have been used by music stars such as Slash, Santana, and Bob Marley.

The company’s annual sales take in about $1bn, but it may be forced to shut its doors if it can’t make good on its outstanding debt.
