An eight-month-old baby who was struck by a car whilst he was out with his mother, has sadly passed away in hospital authorities have confirmed.
According to Sky News, the Luciano Newman who was in his pram which was being pushed by his mother in Penege, South London, sadly died in hospital on Sunday.
The news of Luciano’s death comes just over a week after he and his mother Nicole Newman, 23, were struck by a car on the Croydon Road on Sunday January 13th.
Ms Newman, who tragically died at the scene was out walking with her son when they were struck by the car at approximately 8pm.
Police investigating the incident say a man who was the driver of the vehicle is assisting them with their enquiries, but they have confirmed he has not been arrested.
