Activists that took over the Apollo House building in Dublin, to give accommodation to hundreds of homeless people, have been sent legal letters in response.
Solicitors representing the receivers of the Apollo building, have warned legal action to the activists today.
The solicitors have stated that whilst they ‘sympathise’ with the plight of the homeless, they ‘cannot allow the property to be unlawfully occupied by trespassers.’
The property had been a vacant NAMA owned building, which activists turned into accommodation, bringing in mattresses, setting up electricity and providing water and other basic living essentials.
