In what can only be described as a tremendously brave, inspirational and, believe it or not, funny interview on tonight’s Late Late Show, Maureen Allman from Galway spoke about her battle with terminal cancer.

The 51-yr-old spoke about her ongoing fight with cancer, which is terminal, her little gifts to herself and her joyous uplifting adventures along the way.

Maureen decided to splash out, go on a cruise with her daughter Sinead, buy herself an engagement ring… and even buy a beautiful luxury Jaguar XF !

Maureen will be attending her daughter’s wedding in the coming weeks. She said she has no time line as to when she will pass away, but her sincerely positive attitude keeps her and her daughter in good spirits.

In a beautiful and selfless gesture, Maureen wants to pass away during the calendar year as to not have her anniversary near Christmas or her daughter’s birthday.

Maureen finished the interview in Ryan Tubridy’s own Late Late Show seat.

Tubridy was offered to carry Maureen’s coffin when she does pass away.

What an incredibly lovely person.
