There was more good news on the employment front today as an American insurance provider has announced that it will be creating 200 new jobs at its Irish base.
The company who have redeveloped the Hynes building in Galway city say the jobs are being created as part of an investment that will see its operations expand in the coming years.
Meanwhile the news of the new jobs has been welcomed by the Tanaiste and Government officials from the West who have said the creation of jobs in the area is a welcome boost which will hopefully encourage other companies and corporations too invest in the region.
