A 44-year-old man has been remanded in custody today after he was charged with the murder a woman was found with serious head injuries in her Cork City flat last March.
The woman Nicola Collins a mother of three sadly died as result of her injuries on March 27th.
Gardaí arrested the accused Cathal O’Sullivan who is originally from Charleville, earlier this week in connection with the death of Ms Collins who was originally from Tralee Co Kerry.
Mr O’Sullivan was charged with the murder today after he appeared before Cork District Court, he was remanded in custody for the next week before he appears in court next.
