Met Eireann warns that a period of unsettled weather may hit Ireland next week

The national forecaster has issued a statement to say that a period of unsettled weather may arrive in Ireland next week.

The reason for the warning is Storm Leslie’s recent upgrade to Category 1 hurricane. The weather front is expected to remain at sea for the next 72 hours, but may shift course towards Monday.

While it’s highly unlikely that Leslie will hit Ireland’s coasts, it may leave behind a period of wet and windy weather.
