He’s going nowhere, well, that’s what the Fine Gael insiders claim. The Taoiseach Enda Kenny is trying to pull a Houdini by staying in office indefinitely.
He’s not just waiting to see how the UK General Election pans out, no, Kenny wants it all – he’s waiting, possibly even years to see how Brexit will fair out as far as Ireland is concerned.
Of course there’s social media users on Facebook claiming that Kenny is simply waiting for a “huge job in Europe”, but we’d never be that cynical. Ahem.
Whatever his plan, it appears that Enda Kenny is hungrily trying to cling onto power by any means possible.
