Police authorities in the US state of Florida have revealed that a police sniffer dog is recovering well after getting high off ecstasy during a routine search.
According to Newsweek, authorities became concerned for the dog named Jake, after he showed signs of drug exposure during a routine search at Port Canaveral, Florida last Saturday.
It is believed Jake became intoxicated after he sniffed out the drugs whilst authorities were searching passengers luggage before they boarded the ‘Holy Ship’ electric dance cruise.
Police say Jake showed signs of exposure when he became unbalanced and had a seizure.
Following the incident police took Jake to a nearby veterinary clinic and he is currently in stable condition.
Police added they have arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with discovery.
