The cost of renting a home in Ireland has soared by almost 8% since 2017, according to new figures just released.
The average rent now stands at €1,094 per month, up from €1,017 just twelve months earlier.
Meanwhile, homelessness has also risen to an all-time high, reaching almost 10,000 people, including 4,000 children.
