Rescue 116: Irish Coast Guard will soon resume search for missing crewmembers Paul Ormsby and Ciaran Smith

Members of the Irish Coast Guard and divers will soon resume the search for Paul Ormsby and Ciaran Smith, crewmembers still missing from the doomed Rescue 116 craft.

Rescue 116, a Sikorsky S-92A operating with the Irish Coast Guard, crashed at Blackrock off the Mayo coast in March, killing its entire crew. The bodies of Capt. Dara Fitzpatrick and Mark Duffy were located soon after. Paul Ormsby and Ciaran Smith remain missing.

The helicopter crashed against a rock formation that the onboard terrain avoidance system had not known about. The flaw had reportedly been flagged months before the fatal flight.
