Ryanair will not fly to Brussels until May despite airport reopening.

Ryanair flights from Dublin to Brussels’ Zavantem Airport will not resume until May, despite the airport reopening recently.

Most air carriers have resumed flights to the main airport in Brussels have resumed following last month’s terrorist attacks. However, flights from Dublin will continue to fly to Brussels Charleroi until May 2.

The company is advising passengers to arrive at Chaleroi at least three hours before their flight and to allow extra time for additional security checks.

A statement from Ryanair said: “Brussels Zaventem Airport has reopened, although with some restrictions and the majority of Ryanair’s Brussels Zaventem flights due have resumed operations.

“Our Brussels Zaventem flights to/from Dublin will continue to operate to/from Brussels Charleroi, up to and including Monday, 2nd May.

“Customers booked to fly from Brussels on this route should make their way to Brussels Charleroi, arrive at least 3 hours before their flight and allow extra time for additional security checks.”
