A record number of 656 people were recorded as waiting for a bed across Irish hospitals over the last 24 hours.
The numbers have increased six-fold since 2006, despite many Government ‘initiatives’ and ‘task forces’ that have achieved little else than draining taxpayer-funded hospital budgets.
