There are reports this afternoon that some Vodafone users have been unable to send or received texts throughout the day, as the Vodafone SMS service appeared to be unavailable.
Users resorted to Twitter to express their frustration.
A spokesperson from Vodafone said that We’re aware of an issue that is impacting our customers’ ability to send and receive text messages; this is currently under investigation with our network crew.
“Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.”
