Standing firm: “No deal” – The DUP insinuate that the Irish Government are the reason they weren’t told about the potential Brexit deal

The leader of the DUP Arlene Foster spoke to RTE News today about the utter shambles that occurred yesterday to do with the Brexit deal on Northern Ireland.

One could only take from the interview that Foster insinuated that it was the Irish Government’s fault that she was seemingly left somewhat unaware as to what the text of the deal stipulated.

NO BORDER –

The DUP leader insisted that she didn’t want to see a return of a “hard border” to the north but she reminded people that there is a border in place already, it’s just not a hard border.

Foster went on to say that as it currently stands – the proposed deal that was on the table yesterday and was agreed to by both the British and Irish governments was completely unacceptable and that they will not budge on it.

The Brexit deal now hangs squarely in the balance.
