25-yr-old Erin McAuliffe was arrested by police in North Carolina after colleagues and pupils at Rocky Mount Preparatory were interviewed over her alleged sexual relations with three teenage students.
The maths teacher is said to have had sex with three teenage boys, two aged 17 and a 16-year-old, away from school, police in the county have said.
An investigation was launched when school staff phoned police about the suspected misconduct.
McAuliffe has been charged with three counts of sexuality activity with a student and one of indecent liberties with a minor.
She was fired from the school and is due to appear in court tomorrow.
