Tiangong-1 space station will crash into Earth over the Easter weekend

The Chinese space station Tiangong-1 will crash into Earth over the Easter weekend, according to the European Space Agency (ESA).

The space station has been out of control since 2016.  It will crash down somewhere across the northern hemisphere at some point between March 30 and April 2.

Observers believe that most of the craft will burn up in the atmosphere, though some debris may actually fall to Earth.

It is impossible to predict with accuracy where the debris will fall, so scientists are monitoring Tiangong’s trajectory on an hourly basis.
