Absolutely tragic news this morning from Dublin.
A 27-yr-old woman and two young children have been killed in a apartment fire in Clondalkin, Dublin.
Dublin Fire Brigade arrived at the scene at 2:30am at Cluainin Cronan, Clondalkin.
A total of five people were in the apartment at the time of the fire.
The woman and two girls aged just 2 and 3 years of age were brought to Tallaght hospital where they were announced dead a short time later.
Another woman aged in her 30s was taken to St James’s Hospital, while a four-year-old boy was taken to Our Lady’s Hospital in Crumlin.
Both are said to be in life threatening condition.
Gardai and the Dublin Fire brigade have opened an investigation into the disaster.
