Police authorities in Majorca have sadly confirmed that a young Northern Irish man has died whilst on a holiday.
The man from Coleraine, Co Derry, sadly passed away in hospital on Monday.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, it is reported that the young man was the victim of an alleged assault in Magaluf.
However those reports have yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile a spokesperson for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office said they are currently in liason with authorities on the Spanish island, they also say they are providing consular assistance to the man’s family.
