A number of tributes have poured in as Gardai have released the name of the woman who was found dead at a an apartment in Cabra on Sunday.
The tributes come after 33-year-old Amanda Carroll was sadly discovered dead at Homestead Court on Sunday afternoon.
It is believed that the mother of two was the victim of a violent assault and Gardai have subsequently launched an investigation.
Although the exact cause Amanda’s death has yet to be connfirmed, Gardai say they are currently conducting a direct line of inquiry and a forensic examination is taking place at the scene.
They also confirmed that a 35-year-old man is currently being questioned over Ms Carroll’s death, which is currently being treated as a domestic incident.
