US Airways flight forced to make emergency landing in Rome after crew become sick

An US Airways flight en route from Tel Aviv to Philadelphia was forced into making an emergency landing in Rome after eleven members of the crew and two passengers fell ill. Crew members and passengers were reportedly suffering from red eyes and vomiting.

The plane landed at Fiumicino Airport after requesting medical assistance.

Those affected with the sickness were first seen by doctors at the airport before being taken to a hospital near Rome.
