A bouncer at Hardy’s Bar in Liverpool is being interviewed by police over an incident that happened at the weekend.
A video emerged showing a woman allegedly swinging at the bouncer and he lands a punch back onto her face.
The news publication Deadline released the video showing the woman march towards the bouncer before throwing a punch at his head.
The bouncer’s punch knocks the woman backwards but not off her feet.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said ‘At about 6.50pm, a report was received that a woman had been assaulted by a man close to Hardy’s Bar on Mathew Street.
‘Officers attended and enquiries into the matter are ongoing.’
