Gardai have issued a stern warning to parents to be extra vigilant in the good weather especially on beaches where their kids are playing.
A man allegedly was spotted taking photos of children playing in the sand and swimming on the Banna beach in Tralee, County Kerry over the past number of days.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, had an empty buggy with him and was said to be acting very unusually as people started to realise what he was doing.
A mother of 3 challenged the man asking what he was doing, he picked up his belongings as is said to have ran off the beach into a nearby car park.
Gardai have been made aware of the incident and have asked the public to not only be vigilant but to report any such similar incident immediately to the gardai confidential line on 1800-666-111 or to their nearest garda station.
