Watching the skies: Organisers say 50,000 people have turned out to watch Bray Airshow

There was a big turnout for the annual Bray Airshow today as organisers revealed that up to 50,000 people were in the Wicklow town for the spectacular event.

The show which is set to last throughout the weekend was will see 27 jets and 46 aircraft along with other performance acts on show.

Among the headline today acts was Italy’s Frecce Tricolori, who performd for the first time in Bray, the day also saw 12 other acts perform heroics by showcasing loops, twirls and zip across the Wicklow skyline.
