It really does beggar belief – but according to Sky News, English fans on the ground in Russia have been offered tickets for up to £10,000 to get into tonight’s match against Croatia.
The staggering figure was announced in a Sky News report last evening where Ian Woods said that tickets were being touted to fans for as much as £10,000 with some fans he’d spoken to claiming to have bought tickets for £2,000.
The surge on prices comes as the normal tickets for the match have been rapidly snapped up.
One story confirmed by Sky News showed a number of people purchasing tickets, getting the wrong tickets for last night’s Belgium and France match and having to quickly dash back and exchange the tickets for tonight’s match with who they’d both them from. Both couples managed to somehow take the wrong night’s tickets with them.
