A man has died in an Industrial accident at a cement factory in Waterford.
The accident happened at around 4 pm this afternoon at O’Briens Cement in Belview Port.
The man, who is in his 20’s, sustained serious injuries after falling from a height.
Emergency Services treated the man but he was pronounced dead on the scene.
His body was removed to University Hospital Waterford.
The man is believed to be from Wexford and a father-of-three.
The scene is being preserved for technical examination.
Gardaí and The Health and Safety Authority are carrying out separate investigations.
