?BREAKING: “We’re ready for anything” – National Weather emergency response team to hold another emergency meeting to combat freezing weather conditions




The national weather response team will meet again this morning and say that they won’t be left wanting in relation to what the weather can throw at the country.

Members of the government will tune in via video link with Met Eireann joining the meeting via video link with a detailed update for the week ahead.

It’s now been decided that the national emergency weather response team will every day this week and will decide whether action needs to be taken in relation to combat the weather and possibly save lives.

It’s believed that the weather is due to plummet to -7c in places, possibly even further with snow blasts predicted in areas.

It’s expected that the team may issue a national weather warning, alert and provisions for people to get home from the weather by a certain time to avoid the worst of the inclement conditions.
