England have gotten their first win in this year’s Six Nations with a 13-6 over Scotland at Murrayfield.
In a game that was far from a classic England claimed the Calcutta Cup and their first victory thanks to the boot of Farrell and the game’s only try by Genge.
England who were looking for an improvement on last week’s performance against France, took the spoils at windy and miserable Murrayfield.
Scotland who had their chances paid the price for bad handling errors and England made them pay as Genge effectively won the game on the 70th minute with the game’s only try.
Scores as follows:
Scotland 6
Hastings (46,78)
England 13
Tries: Genge (70)
Conversions: Farrell (71)
Penalties: Farrell (11,77)
