The four people whom Mairia Cahill named as being involved in the so-called ‘kangaroo court’ that dealt with her alleged case of sexual assault will not be meeting Enda Kenny.
Their position has been made clear in a strongly worded letter sent to the Taoiseach by a solicitor representing the foursome.
On October 22 last, the Taoiseach agreed with a request made by Gerry Adams that he meet the four people named by Mairia Cahill; Padraic Wilson, Seamus Finucane, Briege Wright, and Maura McCrory. Kenny said yesterday that he’d have ‘absolutely no problem meeting with them.’
In a statement today, Adams said that he ‘is not surprised that the four are refusing the meeting, given the public opinions and assertioins that the Taoiseach has expressed about them.’
