Gardai have confirmed that a man in his 20s who is a suspect in the murder case of Detective Adrian Donohue has been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in New York for immigration violations and is currently in ICE custody in New York State awaiting deportation.
American officials have confirmed that they have “an Irish national” in custody after he failed to leave the US on expiration of his visa.
