Good news on the jobs front, as US company Randox has announced the creation of 540 jobs as part of the firm’ s biggest expansion project since its creation 30 years ago.
The company will redevelop the former Massereene army base in Antrim, and will turn it into a manufacturing and research facility. The total investment will be €161m.
Randox develops medical tests and makes diagnostic equipment. Its products are used in labs in more than 145 countries.
The jobs will come on stream over the next four years.
