Police in the north have arrested a suspect following the murder of a Pakistani man who was brutally stabbed to death in Belfast on Thursday. The man in question is being held using mental health legislation.
A spokesperson for the PSNI has said that the 32-year-old man from Somalia has been transferred from police custody to a secure medical facility in the Belfast area. The victim, Mohsin Bhatti (29), was brutally attacked and killed in Botanic Avenue in the university area of Belfast at 5am Thursday morning.
