A whale of a time: Irish Air Corps capture amazing photos of a group of whales off the Galway coast

The Irish Air Corps have captured some amazing images of whales off the coast of Galway coast whilst carrying out a routine patrol recently.

The images were apparently captured over the weekend when a crew from the Surveillance and Airlift Squadron spotted the large mammals about 120 miles off the Clifden coast.

The amazing images were captured by Corporal Pat O’Meara.
