Leftists on Twitter have erupted into a spewing of hatred against the Gardai and supposed “racism” of Irish society in general after footage from Wednesday showed the younger brother George Nkencho being arrested after a scuffle involving several individuals with Gardai.
Nkencho was shot dead by Gardai on December 30th, 2020 after an alleged violent assault on a shop manager before allegedly attempting to stab responding Garda.
His death led to violent riots in Blanchardstown which saw an attempt to storm Blanchardstown Gardai station before a mob of thugs made their way to Blanchardstown Shopping Centre and on to Hartstown Eurospar, assaulting and intimidating pedestrians and motorists along the way.
One twitter user proclaimed:
“#GeorgeNkencho Shame on the Gardaí! Fuck them for this.” While sharing a tweet by Conor Reddy of People Before Profit which read
“Totally disgusted seeing #GeorgeNkencho’s brother and mother being piled on and beaten by guards this evening. This comes on top of news that the guard who shot George is back on duty despite the ongoing investigation. Solidarity with the Nkencho family.”
Former TD Ruth Coppinger tweeted:
“#Blanchardstown Gardai today forcibly held, dragged & allegedly assulted the young brother of #GeorgeNkencho & pinned down his mother who understandably intervened in fear for a 2nd son. Answers needed. Join protest at GSOC office 12 noonThurs https://pic.twitter.com/H2yCoC52MS”
While others shared the acronym “ACAB” meaning “All cops are bastards” and inferred the Gardai should abolished or subjected to violent reprisal for daring to enforce the law on black people.
