The Department for Health has confirmed that 9 people have died from coronavirus today and 1546 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 88,312 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 2,205 deaths.
The number of patients in ICU stands at 34, which is down from last week.
