A major search is underway this morning in Drogheda, following reports of a boy entering the water near the Bridge of Peace on the River Boyne on Wednesday night.
Emergency services searched the area ‘extensively’, but no one was found, and there have been no reports of a missing boy fitting the description.
Searches for the boy have resumed.
