There will be a new name on the FIFA World Cup this time around after the reigning champions Germany have been knocked out.
The Germans who have had a poor tournament, have gone out at the group stage for the first time in their history.
Following a 2-0 defeat to Korea Republic and with Sweden beating Mexico 3-0, the Germans have been eliminated and go home early.
In a game were Germany had to at least match Sweden’s result or better it, Jocham Lowe’s failed to do so as a brave South Korean side took advantage to take a fully deserved 2-0 victory.
Although Germany had a number of chances during the game, the 2014 World Cup winners were well below par and paid the price late on as South Korea scored two late goals to dump the holders out.
