A British medical facility is seeking volunteers to be infected with coronavirus, so a vaccine can be developed.
The Queen Mary BioEnterprises Innovation Centre in Whitechapel, London, is offering upwards of €4,000 to participate in the trial, which involves being injected with a less virulent strain of the virus, monitor the symptoms, and extract samples so a vaccine can be developed.
Volunteers will have to commit to remain in isolation for two weeks though, with no contact with the outside world.
The Queen Mary trial is part of a larger initiative to develop an effective vaccine for coronavirus.
