The majority of social media posts are negative in response to the news that the first trans-woman will complete in the women’s Olympics this year.
Many feel it’s massive unfair advantage for males to complete as women in any sport competitions and it’s interesting that there are not many women who wish to complete in mens sports.
A tweet for Save Women’s Sports said;
“What’s the point of spending millions trying to catch drug cheats from major competition trying to gain a tiny but import advantage if we’re going to give away a 10-34% biological advantage?”
Save Women’s Sports also retweeted;
“Men have NO PLACE in women’s sports!”
One particular Facebook comment form P. Kulczycki
caught our attention;
“Not fair. If they want to compete, do Olympics for transgender. Now we discriminate people with disabilities having Special Olympics for them. So on and on……”
