Charlie Gard case: Deadline to decide the place and timing of death for terminally ill baby passes without agreement




The tragic case of terminally ill baby Charlie Gard continues, as a set deadline to decide where and when Charlie will die has passed without agreement.

Earlier in the week, a judge set a deadline of noon today for medical officers at Great Ormond Hospital and Charlie’s family to agree on the terms of the baby’s passing. If no agreement was reached, Charlie would be sent to a hospice, where his ventilator would eventually be disconnected.
