Covid-19: Germany, France, and Italy have temporarily halted administration of the AstraZeneca vaccine due to increasing reports of blood clotting

Germany, France, and Italy have halted the administration of the AstraZeneca vaccine due to increasing reports of blood clotting.

It is understood that the move is out of an abundance of caution in light of the reports.

The manufacturing company, AstraZeneca, has said that ‘there is no cause for concern,’ despite a rising number of cases of blood clotting following administration of the vaccine. At least one person is known to have died.
