Pfizer is today setting up the narrative to keep its tills ringing merrily for the foreseeable future, as the company said that coronavirus boosters might be needed ‘for years to come.’
And what do you know, it only emerged yesterday that the efficacy of the Pfizer compound is almost nil against the Omicron variant, implying that different vaccines will soon be needed, or else the unboosted will become the biggest viral threat walking the planet.
The company says that yearly boosters might be required, but it prefers every six months.
We’re currently on shot #3, with #4 and #5 expected next year, if people accept Pfizer’s own ascertainment of the situation that is, likely produced by its commercial department.
